rodzona: 15 września 1890 r. Zmarła: 12 stycznia 1976 r. Córka Clary i Fredericka Miller – angielska autorka powieści kryminalnych. Agatha Christie jest najbardziej znaną na świecie pisarką kryminałów oraz najlepiej sprzedającą się autorką wszech czasów. Wydano ponad miliard egzemplarzy jej książek w języku angielskim oraz drugi miliard przetłumaczonych na 45 języków obcych. We Francji sprzedano 40 milionów jej książek, podczas gdy zajmującego drugie miejsce Emila Zoli – 22 miliony.
